Sell Paysafecard in Nigeria: The Card Most Buyers Will Not Touch
If you have tried to sell a Paysafecard voucher in Nigeria, you have probably been told no. Most local platforms do not price it at all, and the ones that do often restrict it to a single region.
That is unfortunate, because Paysafecard vouchers are among the highest-paying cards on our board.
Current Paysafecard rates
At the time of writing:
| Voucher region | Rate per $1 | A $100 voucher pays about |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | ₦1,428 | ₦142,800 |
| Switzerland | ₦1,348 | ₦134,800 |
| Europe (EUR) | ₦1,298 | ₦129,800 |
| Greece | ₦1,138 | ₦113,800 |
| New Zealand | ₦598 | ₦59,800 |
The UK voucher rate is higher than any Steam, Xbox, Razer or Roblox rate we publish. If you have been sitting on a Paysafecard because nobody would buy it, it is worth a second look.

Why so few buyers touch it
Three reasons, none of which reflect on the voucher's value:
- Verification is harder. Paysafecard PINs need a different check than a retail gift card, and platforms built around Amazon and iTunes often have not built that.
- It is mostly European. The Nigerian market is oriented toward US and UK retail cards, so Paysafecard sits outside the usual flow.
- Fraud history. Paysafecard has been used in scams, which makes cautious buyers avoid the category entirely rather than verify properly.
The result is a card that holds real value but has thin local liquidity — which is exactly why the rate is strong for those who do buy it.
Regions we price
Trusioo prices Paysafecard from 13 regions: UK, Switzerland, the Eurozone, Greece, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Romania and Sweden.
Nordic and Eastern European vouchers in particular are almost impossible to sell elsewhere in this market.
What to have ready
The 16-digit PIN. That is the voucher. Treat it exactly like cash.
The region. Paysafecard vouchers are region-specific and the rate difference is large — a UK voucher pays more than twice a New Zealand one. If you are not sure, the purchase receipt or the issuing country on the voucher will tell you.
The original value. Paysafecard supports partial spending. If some of the balance has been used, the remaining balance is what can be traded, and you should say so upfront.
How to sell
- Check the Paysafecard rows on the rates page.
- Message WhatsApp with the region and voucher value.
- Confirm the quote before sharing the PIN.
- Payment is sent after verification.
Questions people ask
Can I sell a partially used voucher? Yes, but the quote is based on the remaining balance, not the original face value. Tell the agent upfront — it avoids a failed verification.
Do Paysafecard vouchers expire? The balance does not expire, but some regions apply a monthly maintenance fee after 12 months of inactivity, which slowly reduces the balance. Older vouchers are still tradeable, just possibly worth less than printed.
My voucher is in euros, not dollars. How does the rate apply? The rate table works per dollar of equivalent value. The agent will convert your euro value and quote the Naira figure before you commit.
